From the brewer...

While everyone is spending their mid Summer drinking crisp sessionable beers, trying to enjoy the sun and beat the heat, I'm already looking ahead to our fall seasonal beers. Due to the timing of ingredient availability and the time it takes to brew and condition a new beer, I usually have to start planning a few months in advance.

Looking forward to September, we'll be putting out three fall seasonals, two of which are brand new beers. Cone & Bine is a wet hop extra pale ale featuring Centennial and Equinox hops. An Oktoberfest, a traditionally brewed malty German lager will help welcome the cooler weather. And lastly, the return of Pi Pumpkin Ale! For those unfamiliar, we roast and smoke local pumpkins, use spices from North Market Spice, and age the beer on oak with vanilla and ancho chilis.

For now, I urge you to enjoy the weather and our lighter offerings such as Clear SkyGold Standard, and Driftwood while you can. Look out for Ploughshare Saison mid-August to close out the summer season for us. We're all really excited to bring you Wolf's Ridge's first ever saison!
